Why We Build Business Websites with Next.js
Why a Next.js development agency recommends it for marketing sites and web apps: SEO, Core Web Vitals, scalability and a single codebase.

When clients ask which technology we recommend for their website or web app, our default answer is Next.js. Not because it's fashionable, but because it solves the problems businesses actually have: speed, search visibility and the ability to grow without a rewrite.
Search engines see everything
Next.js renders pages on the server, so every word of your content is in the HTML that Google receives. Single-page apps that render only in the browser can still rank, but they make crawlers work harder — and harder usually means slower and less reliable indexing.
With the App Router's Metadata API, every page gets a unique title, description, canonical URL and social preview image without bolting on plugins.
Core Web Vitals are built in
Google uses Core Web Vitals — LCP, CLS and INP — as ranking signals. Next.js helps on all three:
- Images are automatically resized and served as AVIF or WebP.
- Fonts are self-hosted with no layout shift.
- React Server Components ship less JavaScript, so pages become interactive sooner.
On this very site we target Lighthouse scores of 95+ across performance, accessibility, best practices and SEO.
One codebase, from landing page to SaaS
Your marketing site, customer dashboard and API routes can live in one typed codebase. That means one deployment pipeline, one design system and one team that understands everything.
Hosting that scales by default
Deployed on Vercel or any Node host, static pages are served from a global CDN while dynamic routes scale automatically. You don't need a DevOps team to survive a launch-day traffic spike.
When we don't recommend it
If your site is three pages that rarely change, a simpler static site may be enough. If you need a heavily interactive canvas application, the framework matters less than the rendering engine. We'll always tell you.
